River CO Restaurant & Brewery in Radford

Excellent time! Great food and service. Loved the entertainment!

Arrived late on a weekday evening but within posted serving hours- about 45 minutes before closing. After being seated, I was informed the kitchen had already closed but a couple of entrees were available. I had hoped for a relaxing dinner after a long work day but obviously not on this evening in this particular restaurant. Food was fine; had to ask for check from host. Not the place to go on a slow night. In fairness, I had a quite difference experience on an earlier visit. I came with a large party (12-15 people) after a college graduation. Service was superb, appetizers and drinks came without a hitch and they were wonderful. The entrees were varied, with special requests by several members in the party and the server did a great job! The entrees and desserts, after-dinner drinks were perfectly prepared and served.

Last two times weve went weve had pretty bad customer service from the front of house.. only reason I'm giving an extra star is that the bartender was very good all things considered.

Great experience recently for food and drinks. Loved the appetizers and local beer!

Best balance of great beer, food and staff

This is our "go to" place when we visit Radford. We like everything about this place, the beers, food and views from the patio are top notch. Highly recommend.

They changed our favorite loaded fries that was so good to something that you would get at a County Fair. 8 bucks for fries with fake cheese on top. gross! Meal and beer was ok but I ordered prime rib and it came out warm at best. Such a beautiful place but the kitchen an table staff need to step up their game.

The River Company Restaurant is a great place to entertain business associates, friends and family. They have a wonderful beer, wine and alcohol selection. The food and service is consistently good. I love sitting at one of the tables in front of the fireplace on chilly days or nights. The view from the outdoor balcony is beautiful.They also have a large room for meetings, receptions and other large gatherings. The bar area offers a casual gathering area. River Company is a place you can go in your jeans or more casual attire or get dressed up for a fine dining experience.

Good food. Good beer. Very slow to get both. Great apps.

Great service and in such a beautiful location! Only issue I had was the Crab Cake sandwich tasted kind of funky. Beside that it's a 10/10 restraunt.

Amazing prime rib if you like smokey meats. If not, their steaks are fabulous. Of course the beer is great too. Love the seasonal apple brown and chill chaser. Great atmosphere and a bar tender who remembers your favorites.

We had a wonderful anniversary dinner there. Everyone was great including the food.

Disappointing... "you can't seat if you your party isn't complete" seriously?. Five out of seven people were there on time, the rest were coming late, we lost outdoor table because of that. When I asked to put two tables together, the waitress came up with an strange explanation about why she couldn't do it. Very awkward moment. I give them 2 stars because the food good, but the service sucks.

This is one of the places my family loves to go when they are in town. The river company has a great atmosphere and sometimes there is even even live music. They also brew great beer and the view from the back deck is spectacular. This is a very unique restaurant with high ceilings and a fireplace. The food is very good and I usually get the chicken. This place has a nice ambience and I promise you will love it!

I just took my girlfriend there for her birthday. We came dressed to a very upscale looking establishment just out of the river floating and relaxing on a very rare day off and no one scoffed. Usually I would dress the part but time constraints denied this. The food was AMAZING, the service exemplary. I would recommend it to all

Atmosphere and the building are first rate. Clean, well decorated, feels like a mountain chalet. Craft beers are interesting. Some seem a little plain while others stretch the style limits, Chill Chaser comes to mind. Simple menu but tasty.

Very great place to have dinner. Some of the best small local brewery beers you can get.

Good food, the beer was hit or miss, the venue space is nice. It isn't very busy or slow.

It had been a couple years since we'd been there. This time it was our 43rd wedding anniversary. Well worth the drive & from Princeton to Fairlawn and back.

Was a repeat customer, came here to snap a few photographs of Radford (they have the best overlook) with my friend who’s a photographer, to go on the back of my graduation card as I’m walking in May and the owner in a white pick up truck turned us away and said something to the tune of he was going to call the sheriff department for trespassing Unfortunate... would appreciate a response from the owner or I’ll be going to preston’s from now on

I'm unhappy that the menu changed and decreased taking 3 of our favorite items off the menu. However, the burger is good and service is always good.

Loved the view of the brewing area. Had a flight. Nice selection, tasty food. Wish I could have seen it in warmer weather.

Beautiful view, it’s a great place for a date night...left the kids at home, I think we made the right choice with that decision. We both enjoyed the prime rib and steak crostini appetizer! No issues with service, we got seated immediately and our waiter was very attentive and answered any questions we had. Beers were good, but they didn’t have many of their own available when we went.

Good food and beer. Attentive service. Great view of the valley & river.

Food was very good. I had the roasted califlower and linguini with garlic cream sauce. Most of the rest of our party had the steaks. We ate outside. Had a nice shady table. Service was great and everyone wore masks when needed and great social distancing. A little pricey but great for a special occasion.

Food is above average, but the rolls are mediocre. Not any better than Sister Shubert's frozen dinner rolls.

This place used to be amazing. I don't know what happened. It's not terrible, but the quality of the food has definitely dropped significantly over the last two or three years. I used to save up money to take my family here, now I can't justify the price. The beer is still great.

The food was really good. Which was a blessing since the initial service was terrible.

The food is great. Location is amazing. Great for large groups and also great for a romantic dinner. Good selection of beer and wine. Prices are not to high for this level of restaurant.

Beautiful atmosphere. The beer was very good and we had one of the best burgers we have ever eaten. Will definitely be coming back when in the area.
